With over 20 years experience, Gladys began her nursing career as a clinical nurse at the Trauma Nursing Unit of UC Davis Medical Center. After three years at UC Davis, Gladys moved to Seattle and obtained her Masters degree as an adult nurse practitioner program at University of Washington. Her clinical focus as a nurse practitioner has been in the field of neurosurgery, specifically the spine working with neurosurgeons in private practice as well as at Harborview Medical Center neurosurgery clinic.
In 2010 Gladys completed a certificate program as an adult psychiatric nurse practitioner. She felt the additional training valuable when working with patients who were often living with a painful condition and allowed her to provide holistic care of the individual. For the past five years, her practice has been in interventional pain management. Gladys is excited to be a part of the Brain Treatment Center, working with patients to improve their quality of life.
