Christie Morrison received her Bachelors of Nursing in 1998 from Villa Maria School of Nursing at Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania. Her nursing career started at Johns Hopkins Hospital on the trauma and vascular ward for 2 years. Within her first 6 months, she became the charge nurse of the ward. Christie took the opportunity to expand her nursing career and became a traveling nurse for 7 years. She traveled up and down the west coast working in major hospital systems such as UCLA, UCSF, OHSU, University of Washington and Swedish. In 2006, Seattle's Swedish Neuroscience Institute recruited Christie as their clinical nurse specialist. Christie took on multiple leadership roles at Swedish Neuroscience Institute where she was instrumental in developing policies, efficiencies in clinical flow and managing. She works very closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best quality care is provided to each patient's individual need. Christie will be the Northwest Regional Director at the Brain Treatment Center in Seattle, WA. Christie looks forward to using her clinical leadership, nursing and neuroscience background to optimize the care she and her team provides in Seattle.
