EEG Brain Analysis
Just as your fingerprint is unique, so is your brain. It is unlike any other brain that has ever existed. It defines who you are, your strengths and weaknesses, and your potential in life. Understanding your brain means understanding your own mind, which makes you who you are.
An EEG recording reveals what is happening in your brain
At The Brain Treatment Center, we have over 35 years combined experience studying neural activity. Through a simple painless procedure called electro-encephalography, or EEG, we can take a snapshot of brain activity. To do this, the subjects simply sits quietly and relaxed with their eyes closed while 19 electrodes in the EEG cap on the scalp measure the tiny electrical impulses of current that run through the brain.

EEG analysis reveals discrepancies and dispositions that other tests do not
Everyone's EEG is different, and knowing what to look for can reveal the inner workings of your mind from a deep physical level. With EEG analysis, The Brain Treatment Center has been able to identify an individual's personality, and to what degree they respond to stress and anxiety. In addition, with this EEG analysis, we can identify brainwave patterns that correspond to feelings of sadness or anxiousness.

Treatment with EEG analysis
Once an underlying disorder is identified, the baseline brainwave can be adjusted over time through use of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS*), a process monitored with further EEG analysis. Through this process, TMS can effectively change an individual's brainwave map (EEG) from that reflecting a disorder to that of a more normal individual. By shaping how a subject processes information, how information affects that subject is also shaped. For example, by changing the state of a depressed brain to that of a normal brain, the now normal-brain has more energy and is less disposed or inclined to enter states of self-defeating thought and behavior (See our Research Section).
